<image:caption>Philip began his writing career in the United States in the 1980s, relocating to Paris in Fall 1991 to work as a reporter for the International Herald Tribune (IHT), then co-owned by the New York Times and the Washington Post. At the IHT, he initially wrote for the weekend investing section, The Money Report, then branched out to other sections—including Business and Finance, Features, Special Reports, the Op-Ed page, and Sports—before being promoted to an editorship position on the Business and Finance desk. In 2001, he moved into the corporate writing arena, joining a global consulting firm in a joint Senior Writer and Marketing Director role. In a two-decade career with the firm, Philip wrote, edited, and marketed hundreds of client and press targeted publications, including annual industry reports that were regarded as bellwethers in their respective sectors and attracted global press coverage. Philip holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Phi Beta Kappa honors from Amherst College, where he won three consecutive post-graduate fellowships in Creative Writing. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He resides in Paris with his wife and two children.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Set in rural New England, USA, Something I Keep Upstairs is the story of Coleman Cooper, a troubled young man who can never get anything right—not even his own suicide. When he is sent to an open-door mental health facility in a small village to get his life back on track, his journey darkens even further: someone starts killing the psychiatrists, one by one. After taking a job tending bar at a local country inn—the social heart of the quirky little town where everyone knows everyone and grudges can last for decades—Coleman unwittingly finds himself at the center of the investigation, even a suspect. Yet as villagers dread news of more victims and the police come up empty-handed, it is Coleman, and he alone, who discovers the twisted path to the killer’s identity—and the door to a new life for himself. Kirkus Reviews has critiqued Something I Keep Upstairs as “An assured mystery with an engaging narrator and a distinctive cast.”</image:caption>

<image:caption>In the frenetic world of the 2020s, corporate executives are inundated with content from all directions, more than anyone could possibly read, let alone truly think about. If you are an established corporate entity, a startup, or an entrepreneur trying to get the attention of your clients, as well as potentially that of the press, how can you make your publications rise above the fray and stand out? How to persuade the reader to look past the Executive Summary and absorb the details of your all-important key messages?</image:caption>
